Soccorra Smith Admin Support/Student Registrar Soccorra Smith is our student Registrar. She is our eCASAS administer/ and student registrar. She has 5 years of experience in administrative and hands on phlebotomy. She understands what it means to be a student in a trade and gives our students insight as they move through the process.
Jessie Rivers, DNP, RN Director of Nursing Education Jessie Rivers RN, BSN, MSN earned both his Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science nursing degrees from Chamberlain University. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Nursing practice. He has 11 years of nursing experience. His background includes medical-surgical telemetry nursing. His experience also includes care coordination, case management, and utilization review. In his current role, he operates as a Quality, Safety, and Value consultant oversees and promotes compliance with local, state, federal and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) standards. He also designs and executes training programs designed to enhance health care professionals’ knowledge of risk management and quality improvement. He is current member of the American Nurses Association, and the Greater Washington DC chapter of the Black Nurses Association.
Dr. Pamela Herbert MD Medical Director
Dr Herbert was born in Washington DC and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended Yale University receiving a BA in Biology followed by Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Martin Luther King Hospital in Compton, California. Her career highlights include being Assistant Director for 2 Emergency Departments as well currently being Medical Director of IU Frankfort Emergency Department and EMS Director of Clinton County, Indiana. Dr Herbert has 3 children, Natalie, a graduate of West Point who serves in the US Army, Nathan, a graduate of Belmont University in Theater Arts and Motion Pictures and Noah, a rising Junior at Purdue University who is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dr Herbert enjoys scuba diving, traveling and reading.
