Counselor /Therapist

Job DescriptionTime For Change Therapy Sector is an Insurance-based and public practice located in the heart of Ward 8 for our headquarters, and Dupont Circle, area of DC. Due to expansion we are seeking early on therapist to groom in our different and unique agency. We also are open to therapist who are experienced to provide services on a full-time, part-time basis(all contract basis), including evenings and weekends.
If you are a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFC), LGPC and LGSW. and are wanting to join a progressive and fun private group practice, then look no more. Time For Change is the right place!
Applicants with experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and other theoretical modalities are more than welcome to apply, and the ideal person should have experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and/or adults with varying symptoms to include anxiety/depression, trauma, life challenges. Applicants must be committed to assisting patients by forming strong relationships and demonstrate passion in providing the highest level of care to our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments, treatment plans, and smart goals
  • Utilize evidenced-based therapeutic services who present with varying symptoms, to include substance abuse
  • On-going support
  • Freedom to craft new ideas and services to further enhance care coordination
Qualifications and Skills
  • LPC, LICSW, LMFT, LGPC, LGSW, and licensed in DC.
  • Must be experienced making diagnostic assessment utilizing the DSM-V
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience providing services in a clinical setting
  • Excellent computer, organizational and communication skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Must have Time For Change as additionally insured as listed in contract.

COVID-19 considerations:
All Counseling Staff work remote from our location. We are not seeing clients face to face.



(2) CNA Nursing Instructors one will be Director of Nursing Education to support CEO as well.
Job description:
* Facilitate up to 25 students participation in the program and evaluate progress.
* Assist in evaluation and performance of nursing assistant students.
*Conduct Field education and field supervision at assigned clinical sites (UMC etc.)
* Communicate with Program Director in establishing teaching priorities and implementation.
* Maintain records for the training program including class attendance, curriculum covered, documentation of date and hours regarding student attendance.
* Must be detail oriented with ability to prioritize, follow up and work independently with a set schedule.
*Ability to Develop Curriculum and execute effectively.
Job qualifications:
-Must be a NP or RN
-Must be available 20 hours two shifts available (930am to 1pm and 4:30am to 9pm)
-Must have a year of teaching experience
